| “Behind the Headlines”
Ever wonder how the JournalNews covers a story and decides what to put online and what goes in print? At the August Red Carpet Luncheon, you will understand that and much more in an interactive session that will give you insight into reporters and editors’ jobs as breaking news occurs. Presenters Edwina Blackwell Clark, Publisher, Cox Ohio Publishing's Southwest Group of Newspapers and Ron Rollins, Hamilton JournalNews Editor, will simulate a press conference, a news meeting and show you why they use different media platforms – print, internet, breaking news emails- to get you the most up-to-date information on a story.
The cost to attend is $20.00 per Chamber member and $25.00 per non-member. The event will be held on Thursday, August 12th at 11:45 a.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott – Hamilton. Call the Chamber at 844-1500 to make your reservation today!
