With six individual perspectives, art-makers explore how we inhabit forms, structures, and spaces. Jong-un Chois's (West Lafayette, Indiana) internal perception of fragmented urban spaces is reflected in abstract paintings in a solo series called Selective Consciousness: Vision in the Present Space. In her solo installation titled Cautious Optimism, Cora Jane Glasser (New York City) utilizes construction materials and painted images to offer the inconvenience of navigating a construction site, while experiencing the excitement inherent in the building process. Integrated works by 4 artists infuse sculptural objects and spaces with layers of human presence. ** Layered drawing and paintings of rooms suspended in time by Rebeca Calderon Pittman (Mason, Ohio). ** Finely crafted functional and sculptural ceramic works by Kaname and Sumiko Takada (Columbus, Ohio). ** Sculpture combining elements of human and architectural form by Patricia Wasserboehr (Greensboro, North Carolina).
