Celebrating the epic journey of Apollo 11 astronaut Neil Armstrong, Damien Chazelle’s Academy Award-winning biographical drama, “First Man” (2018), stars Ryan Gosling as the first man to step foot on the moon. Join us in the 51st anniversary year of the moon landings for a free public screening of this pulseracing, critically acclaimed film, ahead of author James Hansen’s Colligan History Project lecture the following week. All guests will be eligible to enter a free prize drawing for one of five copies of Hansen’s landmark biography, “First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong” (2005). Screening will be shown on the Hamilton campus in the Harry T. Wilks Conference Center, Seminar Room 2. Free public event. RSVP strongly encouraged
