Navigating the Military to Civilian Transition, the Catalyst Program’s mission is to help Veterans and their families carry over their success from the military to the civilian space through strategic corporate partnerships. Network and welcome the latest class at 134 N Second St, Hamilton, OH 45011 , free to attend, cash bar.
The Catalyst is a non-profit entity designed to support transitioning military Veterans in finding viable civilian employment and educational opportunities. A unique program for military Veterans that teaches them how to translate their military skills into a viable civilian career while introducing them to network within communities and industries. The program allows candidates the opportunity to become well-versed in corporate culture while learning the tools necessary for job placement success. The process includes a combination of in-class comprehensive education, mentoring, networking and on-the-job shadowing that come together to assist in the military to civilian transition.
During the five-week program Veterans gain clarity in what they want to do, are best suited for and where their passions lie. This allows our graduates to retain, or regain, their confidence, find their direction, and most importantly move into their corporate career at a suitable level for their skillset Employment Partners . A key component to The Catalyst is the Employment Partner Program. Employment Partners bring candidates on-site with the intention of extending job offers at the end of the program. By bringing candidates on-site, there is an opportunity to observe how they work with other teammates while allowing them to solve real-time problems and come up with new and innovative solutions for your business - before you even make a job offer!
The military to civilian transition is complex and difficult for many. That's why The Catalyst offers a holistic approach to the transition into the civilian workforce by including a mix of classroom based instruction and on-site, real-time job shadowing. The success is built on the foundation that includes heavy networking and real-life work experiences to ease the cultural shift that happens during this time.
The Catalyst Program is looking for high-potential candidates for future cohorts. You could be it. Check it out at: www.TheCatalystProgram.org
The next class starts March 5, 2018 in Hamilton, Ohio at the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce.
